 CVS Features In-Store Promotion Benefiting Easter Seals

Announced in early July, CVS/pharmacy stores throughout the country will again feature a September in-store promotion to benefit Easter Seals.  The promotion will feature a 25 cents donation to Easter Seals for every Essence of Beauty® mesh sponge sold throughout the month.  In-store signage and promotion will highlight Easter Seals as the beneficiary of the initiative, with affiliates receiving proceeds from the promotion based on store sales in their communities.

Since Easter Seals was selected in 2006 as a national partner in the CVS Caremark All Kids Can Program, more than $8.1 million has been contributed to Easter Seals by the company, its private foundation and its associates nationwide to ensure that children with disabilities can learn, play and succeed in life.  Easter Seals is blessed with the commitment that CVS Caremark has made to our cause and to the families we serve:  through program grants to advance services for children and young adults living with disabilities; through employment of Easter Seals clients; through volunteerism including board participation; and through support of Easter Seals events, including its national sponsorship and local participation in Walk With Me which in 2009 alone is on track to exceed $2 million in support from CVS Caremark.

 Our CVS friends throughout the country will enjoy welcoming Easter Seals affiliate staff, volunteers, board members and client families to their stores in September and will be impressed that we are supporting their in-store fundraising for Easter Seals through the purchase of a mesh sponge and collectively thanking them for the support they have provided to our cause through All Kids Can since 2006.
